End Of The Year Wrap-Up

When I was stitching more, one of my sisters every so often posted a State of the Stitching Address where she updated everyone on her progress of her various stitching projects through out the year, which was nice since she lives in California and it's not like I could just drop by and every couple of weeks or weekly and do a stitch-in and see how she was doing. Well I could, but I don't have the money for that. Yet.

So, in the same vein I want to do an end of the year wrap-up in preparation for posting my new years goals.

It's been a busy year - I sold my first book, Finding Love, to Total-e-Bound, which came out in September, found out a friend of mine was doing his 7th tour in Iraq, and two more will be going there next summer, sold my second book, Knight of Pleasure, the first in the Smuggler's Cove series, to Total-e-Bound, which comes out in March 2010, sent Bug to school camp for a week, launched my website, moved out of my tiny apartment after three years, finally graduated from college with a bachelor of science, and finished a total of 3 books. Temporarily we are staying with one of my brothers and his family (they have 5 kids) while the new place gets prepped.

This coming year means trying to find a regular job, getting into grad school, and writing. Lots of writing. My goals and resolutions for 2010 will be posted soon and I'll be holding myself accountable on my blog daily or weekly at least.
