NaNo Update
So my islands don't have names, well they do but, I don't like them and I don't think sound right so they'll change, but I have more of an idea what it looks like and what is going on. I have about 3500 words written to date, which isn't a lot, but all things considering, I'm thoroughly impressed. While I know I should never attempt NaNo in November, which next to December or the first half anyway, is the busiest month of the year, I do. I'll do it again next year with the hope to break 7000. :) And I know pretty much three-quarters of the book now, so I'm very happy with the progress. I still don't know what the heroine looks like, but here's a pic of the hero...

Inspiration is --
Everywhere -- alter world geography and topography slightly and the setting for a new erotica series has a home! (I DIDN'T take this photo - it was taken by Michael A. Stecker, which I found on his website while doing some online research -- love the photographs there) For my purposes, just out of sight on the right hand side is the home of a very private resort. The actual bay is slightly smaller than the one in my story -- but the images are great. The resort is the backdrop for a new series I'm working on, the first of which has a working title of Tropical Temptation. I've started working on it and it is my focus piece for NaNoWriMo this month. I'm looking for it to be novel length at 100K words and I've got the premise for the next 3 and am almost decided on the 5th one. The general location for the resort and the island is in the South Pacific, there abouts near America Samoa (the location of the photo) along with it's sister island, neither of which have names yet, but bloody pasts. Tourists flock to the larger of the two islands with it's violent but romanticized past and avoid the smaller one, which by comparison is slightly boring...maybe...
